Due to the aging and illness of their parents, Dr. H and his wife needed to relocate to be closer to them as caregivers. Dr. E was not happy in a big box dental corporate structure. As a big Auburn football fan, he was excited about an opportunity to live in the Auburn, Alabama area. Nine months later, Dr. H has been able to complete his transition and Dr. E has assumed the reins with an intact staff and patient base.

Dr. H, Opelika, AL

Dr. K wanted to retire from his practice of 40 year, sell out and walk away. Dr. P had recently sold her 30 year old practice and moved “to the beach” to retire, but she missed the action. Gendus was able to place a mature partner in a thriving practice and allow the selling doctor to retire and leave on his own terms. A year later the practice had doubled revenues and was able to retain the team and increase their income and benefits as well.

Dr. K, Alabama Gulf Coast

Dr. P was a senior at UA School of Dentistry in Birmingham, Alabama. She wanted to practice in the Florida panhandle and because of student loan debt, was not ready to acquire a practice. She hoped that she could affiliate with an existing practice and “learn the ropes” while paying down her student debt. A year later, Dr. P has consolidated her student debt and is progressively paying it down while working in her thriving practice.

Dr. H was ready to retire after 40 years of practicing dentistry, and wanted someone to come in and take care of his patients with the same touch that he had. He also wanted the “new doctor” to retain his team and keep their world as normal as possible. Fourteen months later, Dr. H is enjoying his retirement.
