For years, we watched corporate dentistry come into Alabama and fail for a number of reasons.
We saw unhappy selling doctors, unhappy associate doctors, unhappy teams, and unhappy patients. So we went to work to uncover why no one was getting this right. And the answer was easy. The corporations were taking successful practices and trying to do everything they could do to change them to fit their model.
The doctors who started Gendus decided to create a model where we would change as little as possible about a successful practice and make them even better – and that is what we have done.
We’ve hired outstanding partners in the fields of accounting, legal, banking, HR, and PR. We’ve developed a model that brings in associates as partners, not employees, and we support them at all levels by providing an environment to nurture their skills, learn new ones, and grow at their own pace as they create their path to ownership.
And it’s working. We now have ten practices from the Florida Panhandle to Birmingham – and growing!
